Hi! We’re Nibble & Hop, a small indie team. Our psychological horror sound novel In Your Hands launches on Steam on October 6, 00:00 UTC (October 5 in the Americas), and we’re looking for testers to play it before release.
ABOUT THE GAME
In Your Hands is horror you read. Not jump scares, but the kind that turns cold on you a beat after you’ve read the line. You explore by pointing and clicking: pick up a weapon, touch the wallpaper, scribble on things. Every choice is made with your own hands.

CONTENT WARNING
The story is set in the aftermath of a war. The protagonist is a child pressured by adults into taking part in violence. Executions, death by burning, and physical assault are depicted, mostly through text; on-screen depiction goes no further than blood. Some endings imply the child’s death. No sexual content.
THE PLAYTEST
What you get:

- Optional: your name in the game’s “Playtest” credits. We’ll ask in the feedback form, and you won’t be listed if you’d rather not be.
What we ask:
After playing, fill out a feedback form (10–15 minutes). Tell us where you got stuck, any bugs, and any lines that read awkwardly.

A NOTE ON AI USE
The illustrations and in-game art, six of the background music tracks, and two short cinematics were created with generative AI tools, then selected, edited and composited by us. All of the writing (dialogue, narration, choices and ending text) was written and revised by hand. Sound effects, five licensed music tracks and all fonts are licensed assets.
