The phone rang at 3:33 and nobody answered. Now the house repeats that night, lap after lap.
Relapse Protocol rebuilds that night inside the memory of the man who didn’t answer, and makes him walk it: the same house, the same storm, the same L-shaped hallway that starts over every time you cross the door at the end. Every lap opens one more room and hands the house back a little changed.
It’s first-person psychological horror, made by one person in Argentina with Blender and Unity 6. P.T. is the obvious reference: one place you come to know in detail, and that turns on you.
Guilt is not solved. You accept it, or you relapse.
What you can play
- In the browser: the house, cut short. Nothing to install.
- For Windows: the whole house, 25 to 40 minutes.
- English and Spanish: voices, papers, signs and menus. It starts in English, and Spanish is one line down in Options.
How it plays
- Walk, look, use. No weapons, no combat, no running and no jumping.
- No text on screen inside the memory. The story is on the radio, on the telephone, on the papers you pick up and on the photographs.
- Something else walks the house. Losing to it repeats the lap, not the game.
Before you start
- Headphones, and the lights off if you can. Half of this is sound.
- Brightness is in Options. Set it with the calibration strip before your first lap.
- Content: grief, the loss of a child, long stretches of darkness, blackouts, sudden loud sounds and some blood.
About the project
Five sessions are planned. This demo is the first one, the house. The second is finished and will come later; the others are designed and not built yet.
