Lucy’s Nightmare — a 2D pixel-art psychological horror platformer. Free demo out now on Steam.
Lucy has forgotten who she is. Trapped in a nightmare that refuses to end, she descends through storybook worlds that have gone wrong — a carnival that never closes, a candy land with teeth.
Scattered diamonds hold her stolen memories. Each one you recover plays back a fragment of the real world, and those fragments wear a very different face. One layer at a time, the fairy tale peels back, until what’s underneath proves crueler than any nightmare.
The horror isn’t in the monsters. They’re bright, cute, and everywhere. It’s in what the memories turn out to be about.
Free demo — about 40 minutes, prologue through chapter one
Windows / macOS · 10 languages · keyboard only
Rated 18+ in South Korea (violence, horror, language)
Full game targeting Q4 2027
I’ve been building this alone for two and a half years — writing, design, code, and all character art and animation drawn pixel by pixel. Background art is produced with AI assistance.
