Heavy Metal Death Can is a retro-inspired survival horror game set aboard a submarine in an alternate-history 1970s Scandinavia. Trapped beneath the Norwegian Sea you must survive against your fallen crewmates, their corpses twisted into relentless horrors by the mysterious Sludge, while uncovering the dark truth hidden beneath the waves. Along the way, you’ll encounter a cast of eccentric survivors whose motives are as unpredictable as the nightmare surrounding them. Inspired by the cinematic horror classics of the late 90s and early 2000s, the game combines oppressive atmosphere, meaningful resource management, classic puzzles, and striking retro-inspired visuals.
