In it you get to explore three islands where your friend has gone missing and your task is to find out what happened to them and break the curse over the islands. Run and hide from the creatures that live on the islands and make an uneasy alliance with one of them.
Hello, I am Juuso, the creator of Tarpit and the sole developer behind Koivu Games. I am a university student who decided to try out video game development in my free time, since I was not able to land a job in my industry.
The game was made in the summer of 2026 and it was inspired by my summer job the year before, where I worked at an outdoor museum which centered around traditional pine tar making and pre-industrial peasant life.
Tarpit is currently part of the Steam Scream V sale event (which lasts until November 2nd) and the current goal would be to get 50 total reviews for the game!
