NOCLIP: take the key, then escape the blackout in my offline Android Backrooms game

I’m 1900xd, the solo developer of NOCLIP, a released, single-player Backrooms escape game for Android. Its turning point is taking a floating key: the exit opens, the lights go out and a monster begins hunting you.

Exploration gives you time to learn the building. The chase sends you back through that same space in the dark. A floor-by-floor radar and larger map, route tags and fading footprints help you find your way back. Buildings include multiple floors, stairs, ramps, galleries and raised platforms.

There are 100 themed levels in a fixed progression, with generated layouts and a final ending. The settings range from fluorescent offices, hotels and Poolrooms to increasingly strange places. Directional sounds, failing lamps and a camcorder effect build tension before the pursuit.

NOCLIP is free to play offline, without ads or a game account. The first three levels are open immediately, and every other level can be unlocked through play. An optional one-time in-app purchase opens all levels immediately. Monster speed, stamina regeneration and the camcorder effect are adjustable; touch controls include a left-handed layout.

The linked Android listing identifies version 1.0.5. Some older store wording still refers to an exit button; the current project uses the floating key.
